1963 Ford Thunderbird - Needing an investor
- Purchase and restore, or we can do it.
- This is the classic 1963 Bullet Bird that you've always wanted
- The car is garage-kept for the past twenty years.
- The transmission shifts smoothly but has trouble when trying to shift
gears while going up hills.
- There is an air conditioner in the car, but the belt is not hooked up,
so I don't know if it works, but the fan blows air from the vents.
- The tires are fairly new and in very good shape.
- The rear fender skirts are included but are not on the car.
- The interior is in okay shape with a few tears in the red leather
upholstery and the carpeting. Needs attention.
- There are minor cracks in the door panels and scuff marks on the
rear side panels and other places in the interior, but nothing too
terrible. Just your average wear marks.
- The dash is cracked in a few places and should be replaced, There
are seatbelts in the front and back seat.
- All the gauges work, all lights, brake lights, turn indicators, horn and
other electrical components work, even the cigar lighter. The clock and the
original AM radio do not work.
- The glass is all very good.
- There are no dents or other body damage to any of the panels. The chrome
is in good shape all around and is complete.
- The car could use a new paint job, but the existing one is in decent
shape with only a few chips here and there on the doors. It's a real '20
footer.' From a few feet away it looks perfect and the minor body flaws
are only visible when you get up close.
- It was probably a Texas car all it's life and that explains why there is
so little rust on it.
- The only areas I was able to find were in the rear floor of the
trunk and around the chrome tail light bumper 'Q's' . There is no rust
on the side panels, deck lid, hood, etc.
- The area below the rear window has rust and needs repair.
